Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. No Refund Policy
All payments are final and non-refundable.
Due to the nature of our Service and the low monthly subscription fee ($1/month), we do not offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind after subscribing
- Partial use of the Service during a billing period
- Inability to use the Service due to your system configuration
- Effectiveness of the Service on specific platforms
- Technical issues on your end
2. How Cancellation Works
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard:
- Log in to your account at www.themousemover.com
- Click the "Manage Plan" button
- You will be redirected to the Stripe billing portal
- Click "Cancel subscription"
- Confirm the cancellation
3. What Happens After Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- Immediate effect: Your subscription is marked for cancellation and will not renew
- Access retained: You continue to have full access to TheMouseMover until the end of your current billing period
- No prorated refunds: You will not receive a refund for the remaining days in your billing period
- End of period: Access automatically ends when your paid period expires
- Reactivation: You can resubscribe at any time by logging in and subscribing again
4. Billing Cycle Example
Scenario: You subscribe on March 1st and cancel on March 15th.
- You paid $1 on March 1st for access through March 31st
- When you cancel on March 15th, you keep access until March 31st
- No refund is issued for March 15-31
- Your subscription does not renew on April 1st
- Your access ends on March 31st at 11:59 PM
5. Failed Payments
If your payment method fails:
- Stripe will automatically retry the payment
- You will receive email notifications about the failed payment
- If payment continues to fail, your subscription will be cancelled automatically
- Access will be revoked immediately if payment cannot be processed
- You can update your payment method in the Stripe billing portal
6. Disputes and Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback.
If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
- Stripe charges us fees for chargebacks
- False chargebacks may result in permanent account termination
- We will provide transaction records to your financial institution

7. Service Termination by Us
We reserve the right to terminate your subscription if:
- You violate our Terms of Service
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- You abuse the Service
- Your payment method is invalid or declined repeatedly
In cases of termination by us, no refunds will be issued.
8. Exceptions
The only circumstances where a refund may be considered:
- Duplicate charges: If you are accidentally charged twice for the same billing period
- Technical error: If a billing error occurs on our end
- Legal requirement: If required by applicable law
Any refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charge and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
9. Subscription Price Changes
If we change the subscription price:
- Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance
- The new price will apply starting your next billing cycle
- You may cancel before the price change takes effect
- Your current billing period will not be affected
